What is required to enter the category “Lights, camera, action!” ?

To enter this category, each participant must share a video of their cruise. You are free to use the format of your choosing (9 :16, 16 :9, 4 :3…) and to decide how you want to tell us about this experience on a Nicols boat. However, while editing your video you must respect a few conditions:

• The video must be a montage of several shots/videos. We will not consider videos of a single shot without editing or video editingmade from photos.
• Your file must be a format: .mov, .avi, .mpeg, .mpeg4, .wmv or .mp4
• Your video must not exceed a duration of 5 minutes

If you want to enter the category “Lights, camera, action!” we suggest emailing us your video using We Transfer. Make sure you also provide us with the following information:

• First and last name
• Home address (with zip code, city, country)
• Phone number
• Email address

What is the prize for this category ?

The winner of the category “Lights, camera, action” will be rewarded with a short-break cruise of 3 days and 4 nights with a maximum value of 2075€ (tax included)..

This prize will be usable for the 2024 season (except for the period between June 6th and August 23rd) on a 2-cabin boat that can sleep 4-6 people. The winner will be able to pick the boat of their choosing among all available Nicols boats (except FLY range and Sixto Prestige C) from the following bases : Dole in Franche-Comté, Saverne in Alsace, Venarey in Burgundy, Le Somail or Port Lauragais on the Canal du Midi, Bellegarde in the Camargue, or Glénac in Brittany. The cruise will be free of charge with the exception of meals, fuel consumption, optional extras and security/cleaning deposits upon boarding.

What is required to enter the category “Travel journal”?

To enter this category, each participant must share an account of their Nicols cruise, in the manner of a travel journal. The content and writing style are up to each participant. However, your text must respect a few conditions:

• It should be at least 400 words
• It should come with at least 3 pictures of your cruise

The winner of the category “Travel journal” will be rewarded with a weekend cruise of 2 days and 2 nights withe a mximum value of 1596€ (tax included).

To enter this category, each participant must share with us one or several pictures taken during their cruise. For this category, possibilities are endless! Whether they are pictures of the boat, of landscapes, architecture, life on board, activities around the boat (fishing, swimming, or having a picnic), or even quirky and out-of-the-ordinary pictures, they are all an opportunity to win the contest!

What is the prize for this category?

The winner of the category “Through your camera lens” will be rewarded with a mini cruise of 1 day and 1 night with a maximum value of 480€ (tax included).

This prize will be usable for the 2024 season (except for the period between June 6th and August 23rd) on a 2-cabin boat that can sleep 4-6 people.
