Brilliant! The boat did not leak at all in spite of awful weather, and was the most comfortable boat we have ever hired. When the toilet pump was jammed, help arrived quickly and it was soon fixed – but it would have been ideal if someone had noticed it was broken before we set out. The river would benefit from additional moorings.

What memories do you keep of your holidays?
Outstanding boat; kind, pleasant lock-keepers; good (and free) shower facilities available ashore; friendly and helpful Nicols staff. Disappointing that because of so much rain we could not go upstream from Laval – we couldn’t fit under the bridge.
